To my little Aggie

To my little Aggie,
Well Libby girl, today the brainwashing began :) Your daddy and I just couldn't help ourselves and got you all geared up for Aggie game day! And let me just say, you were very excited about it.

Daddy and I hope that you will grow to love Aggieland as much as we do. Not because of the football team (because they will break your heart...repeatedly). Not because there's a lot to do in College Station :) And not because the weather is nice (because if your hair ends up being like mine you're going to have some frizzy days). But hopefully you'll love it because it is truly one of the best places on earth with some of the best people you'll ever meet. We'll warn you now - it's hard being an Aggie sometimes. People will rag on you but don't listen to them...it's only because they don't understand what a special place it is. There is nothing like being at Kyle Field or Muster to remind you that we all really do have a deep desire to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. At A&M you'll learn a lot about things like friendship, service, tradition, respect, and integrity. And hopefully while you're there you will learn a lot about faith in Jesus like your mommy and daddy did. Of course, ultimately you can go to college anywhere you want. But come on, look how cute you are in maroon & white!

I guess you have a few years to think it over :)
Love,
Mommy
