John Paul turned 30! His mom and brother came in town to surprise him on the 16th (his actual bday) and we celebrated at the Cheesecake Factory. Then Saturday night we had a party at my mom and Ken's house (separate post to come later)! So thankful for his life :) He's so cute...
I also got to help Morgan babysit miss Lola Houston while Annie and Jono went to a family wedding! It was a so much fun...Lola is such a happy little girl and Morgan and I had a blast figuring out what the heck we were doing :) (The picture below is actually from December...but how stinking cute is she?!)
John Paul, Breshard, and I went to the Mavs game with my family and had a great time! It was the first Mavs game I had been to in a while but I definitely got right back into it just like the good ole days :) And we beat the Spurs in OT....good game indeed.
Young Life started back up with a black light club! This is me and one of my girls, Ellie, who you have probably heard me talk about...she is a stud hip hop dancer. A-ma-zing.
We went to the Carby baby gender reveal and found out they are having a girl too! Yay!
There were a few other fun things that I don't have pictures of including...
- my mom took Nicki and I to see Bring It On the musical which had awesome singing and real cheerleading and stunts in it! (and they took out the inappropriate parts from the movie...thank you very much)
- Our friends Justin & Leslie welcomed their precious son, Logan Michael Kvasnicka, into the world on February 7th!
- my mom and I registered at Buy Buy Baby and picked out bedding for the nursery (which does not actually exist yet, ha)! So incredibly thankful for her help!
- John Paul and I started a parenting class at church which is every Sunday for 6 weeks. It is taught by a couple from The Village that has 4 kids and this past week we talked about what the goals of godly parenting actually are...it was great and I can already tell we are going to learn a lot. Looking forward to the next 5 Sundays!
- We started a study on Galatians at church and with our home group and I am loving it.
- We found out we are getting to go on a babymoon to Watercolor, FL at the end of March with the Bowens thanks to their extreme kindness! We are going to stay at Alli's aunts house for 4 nights. So excited :)
Well that's about it! It's so hard to believe I am going to be 24 weeks along with our sweet baby girl on Thursday! Time seems like it is flying by right now. She is moving more and more and it is the best feeling in the world...I never get tired of it. Well I guess I'll go ahead and leave you with a 23 week bump pic from this past weekend...
